Delete Your Account & Data

Control

This page explains how to delete your Control account and the data associated with it. You can start account deletion from inside the app, or by sending us a request by email — both options are described below.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

Open Control and go to Settings → Account.
Tap Sign out to disconnect the current device, or Revoke device to remove a device from your account.
To remove chat history, open a chat and use Delete chat; this erases those messages from our servers.

Option 2 — Request full account deletion by email

Email the contact page from the address you signed in with, using the subject line "Delete my Control account".

We verify the request against your sign-in email and then permanently delete your account and its associated data.

What is deleted

Your account record and the sign-in identity (email address and display name from Google sign-in).
Your chat history and any prompts stored with your account.
Your registered devices and their status records (model, name, connectivity, and the random per-install identifier).

What may be retained, and for how long

Account and chat data are deleted within 30 days of a verified request. We may retain a minimal record only where required to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or prevent fraud/abuse; such records are limited to what the law requires and are deleted when that obligation ends. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
